High school science teacher Kristie Ferruzzi was recognized on Jan. 9 as one of 25 educators on Long Island selected by their district as an ASSET Bright Light. This annual award is given to teacher leaders, administrators or support staff for their extraordinary contributions to integrating technology into their schools. Ferruzzi consistently incorporates technology into her science classroom and shares this information with her peers.
