High school biotechnology research students Max Esposito, Timothy Hantzschel, Paul Pillitteri and McKenna Smith recently participated in the Partners in Science program, cosponsored by the Brookhaven National Laboratory Research Library and Eastern Suffolk BOCES School Library System. Students toured the National Synchrotron Light Source II and learned about experiments that can be conducted there. During lunch, they talked with BNL researchers about what it is like to be a scientist in various fields of study. The students also had time to conduct their own literary research using BNL’s digital library.
