High school senior Amanda Ditaranto was named a National Merit Semifinalist in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program, based on her exceptional results in the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Ditaranto was among only approximately 16,000 students nationwide who were recognized as Semifinalists out of 1.5 million who applied by taking the exam.

Semifinalists in this 66th annual National Merit Scholarship Program go on to compete for 7,600 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $30 million, to be offered next spring. Those scholarship winners will be announced beginning in April 2021.
