During the holiday season, students in Marissa Villani’s life skills class at Beach Street were engaged in a hands-on activity, learning how to design and sew a stocking together using a plastic needle and yarn. Each student was able to take their stocking home; some chose to give their finished product to a friend or family member as a gift.
