During the first week of school at Oquenock Elementary School, Mrs. Quigley’s third grade class read “Saving Fred” and built a parachute in the STEM lab to carry Fred (a gummy worm) to safety. The students went outside to test the parachutes as they were dropped from a tall ladder.
