An outstanding group of 19 high school juniors and seniors were recently selected to participate in All-County band, chorus and orchestra ensembles in the annual concert sponsored by the Suffolk County Music Educators Association and New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education. Students were selected from the best musicians of Suffolk County, based upon their NYSSMA solo adjudication ratings, and represent the best in the county. The 2018 All-County concert will take place Nov. 16.

The All-County selections were: Patrick Bolin, Matthew Falkenmayer, William Fix, Matthew Oldaker, Marisa Pastore, Evan Trommer and Jack Walsh for All-County Band; Grace Gallagher and Joseph Imburgia, for All-County Orchestra; Erin Bevan, Mary Ellen Boucher, Lauren Leonardi, Delaney Rivera, Anthony Venezia and CJ Zito for All-County Mixed Chorus; and Shannon Feminella, Kylie Horan, Kathryn Paidoussis and Marion Wegener for All-County Treble Chorus.
