The high school’s boys cross-country team, guided by coach Kevin Murphy, recently found success at the Section XI divisional championship, with the team placing 14th overall in a field of 52 teams. The team consists of John Boniberger, James Cameron, Paul Ciesluk, Paul Folks, Nick Mangiamele, Nick Monaco and Andrew Paules.
Paules, a junior, took first place in his heat with a personal best 5K time of 17:33. His overall merged time put him in 20th place out of a total of 755 Suffolk County runners.
