The high school’s varsity girls lacrosse coach Joe Nicolosi reached the 200-win milestone by leading the Lady Lions to a victory over the Massapequa Chiefs on March 15. Under Nicolosi’s leadership, the team has won four of the past five county championships, four Long Island championships and one state title.
“Coach Nicolosi continues to provide the Lady Lions a priceless, rewarding educational experience and has developed a culture where student-athletes can reach their full potential,” said Athletic Director Tim Horan.
