During a May 8 home baseball game against Bellport, Anthony Cinquemani pitched a perfect game, including six strikeouts. Facing 21 batters, Cinquemani threw 72 times in the 10-0 Lions victory.
“The West Islip community is very proud of Anthony and his perfect game,” said Athletic Director Tim Horan. “This may be the first perfect game in the history of West Islip baseball. St. Joseph’s College is getting an incredible student athlete and even better person.”
