A dozen West Islip High School students were chosen by the New York State School Music Association to perform at the All-State Music Conference, and three additional students were selected as alternates. This prestigious event showcases the finest high school musicians from across New York. The student will travel to Rochester in December to participate in four days of rehearsals and performances.

Matthew Cammarano will perform with the All-State Symphonic Band; Eve Castonguay will perform with the All-State Symphony Orchestra; Kylie Horan and Lindsey Pritchard will perform with the All-State Mixed Chorus; Hallie Huners will perform with the All-State Treble Chorus; and Patrick Bolin, Nicole D’Asaro, Marisa Pastore and Ryan Rafferty will perform with the All-State Wind Ensemble.

Additionally, Noelle Fallon, Ryan Lang and Karina Vartanian were named chorus alternates.
