Recent Wednesday afternoons in Bayview’s art room were a buzz of creativity and comradery, with high school Art Honor Society students volunteering their time to mentor fifth and fourth grade artists in Bayview’s Da’Vinci Art Club. With help from their mentors, the Bayview students created sgraffito ceramic tiles, a landscape painting and two-way optical illusion pictures.
“It was a wonderful opportunity for the high schoolers to share their expertise with the elementary students,” said Bayview art teacher Louise Stephenson.
