Students in Ms. Chizik's first grade class at Paul J. Bellew Elementary School recently connected literacy and science lessons by learning how paper is made. The class began exploring the topic by reading “How to Make Paper” by Lior Klirs. Students then visited the STEM lab and explored the process of recycling paper. Students were excited when they created their own pieces of paper.
