Bellew Elementary School, students and staff lined the school’s driveway, holding up signs of encouragement and inspiration. Paul J. Bellew Elementary School Principal Rhonda Pratt presented the organization with a check for $1,750, thanks to the school’s fundraising efforts. ALS Ride for Life will visit schools across Long Island from May 8-19. The organization was founded in 1997 with the mission of raising research funds to find a cure for ALS, supporting patients and their families through patient services and increasing public awareness.
