During their second week of Summer Investigations at Paul J. Bellew Elementary School, elementary students explored animal adventures, reading and researching about them using Pebble Go on their Chromebooks. Students had a special visit from the West Islip Public Library, learning about African animals and creating an animal puppet with a clothespin. In the STEM lab, students connected the animal adventure theme to prehistoric times by creating their own fossils out of salt dough.
