To close out the final week of the Summer Investigations program in West Islip School District at the end of July, the theme was fiction, fantasy, fairytales and folktales. The students compared and contrasted the fairytale “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and the fractured fairytale “Goatilocks and the Three Bears.” Students also made slime in the STEM lab and learned about texture.
