The West Islip varsity boys spring track and field team, led by coach Robertson, coach Lavery and coach Sullivan, has once again cemented its place in school history with an outstanding 2025 season. For the fourth consecutive year, the Lions captured the League IV Championship title – finishing the season undefeated in dual meet competition. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work and team-first mentality displayed by the entire program. Especially noteworthy is the Class of 2025, whose graduating seniors have never experienced a dual meet loss throughout their high school careers, an extraordinary and rare feat in the world of high school athletics. Congratulations to the athletes, coaches and families who contributed to this unforgettable run of excellence.
