The Spotted Lanternfly Trap Build on April 24 at West Islip High School brought together students, families and community members to take action against invasive species. Led by Environmental Club advisor Mr. Haldenwang and supported by student volunteers, participants learned how to build traps that could be taken home or placed in targeted areas around the school and community. A great example of learning in action and community collaboration!
