Throughout the district, staff and community members continue to engage in activities that demonstrate kindness and concern for others during the extended school closure.
This week, 80 Easter goody bags and gift cards were distributed to the neediest students throughout the community in an effort coordinated by social workers, a local family, the Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and other food organizations. Local businesses have stepped up in supporting school meals for those in need. Netter Real Estate offered a spring holiday treat, which was served under a tent donated by VJ Entertainment, a business owned and operated by a district employee.
