The junior varsity division of the West Islip Brainstormers academic trivia team qualified and played in the Long Island Quiz Bowl Championships on April 3. After having gone undefeated in the regular season, the team advanced to the final round, where they finished fifth in Long Island. The team consisted of Matt Stabenau, Jimmy Ziti, Marccello Attallah, Ethan Miller and Danny Murphy. Congratulations on the best season in more than 15 years!
