In honor of Rare Disease Day, students in Mrs. Caldone’s first grade class at Bayview Elementary School let their light shine by participating in a glow day. Dressed in neon and/or light up gear, the students completed work with highlighters to glow under black lights. The students also conducted a science experiment about glow sticks, solved glowing math problems, and formed words with glowing markers and neon stickers to represent word parts.
