The high school recently recognized its Class of 2020 by participating in the national Be the Light event. The school’s stadium lights illuminated the field at 8:20 p.m. (20:20 military time) for 20 minutes with the stadium scoreboard displaying “2020” in support of the seniors.
“Our hope is this tribute will serve as a source of light and inspiration for the senior class, through the darkness of Covid-19,” said Tim Horan, the district’s director of health, physical education, athletics and recreation.
