On the last official day of school, West Islip High School held a “Clap-Out” for the graduating Class of 2020. District and high school administrators, teachers and staff lined the sidewalk at the school on June 19 to celebrate and “clap-out” the graduates. Seniors and their families in cars, decorated with pride in blue and gold, paraded down Lion’s Path and exited through the Barberry Gate one last time.
“Congratulations to our graduates, their families and friends,” said the school’s principal, Dr. Anthony Bridgeman.
