The third graders at Bayview Elementary School are learning about indoor and outdoor power safety thanks to a partnership with PSEG. PSEG recently held a “Touch a Truck” assembly at the elementary school. They met Mr. Brian who is a lineman for PSEG. He demonstrated the use of all the safety equipment needed to make any kind of repairs on the power lines and poles. The students tried on many different types of equipment, such as insulated gloves and tool belts, to feel what it’s like to work in the PSEG community.
