As part of their P.S. I Love You Day celebrations, the students at Bayview Elementary School are spreading love in their school, community and beyond. Students in Ms. Caputo’s pre-kindergarten class created a kindness quilt, with each student designing their own one-of-a-kind piece. The pieces were assembled and displayed together outside the classroom. As part of a schoolwide project –and in conjunction with school counselor Kelly Minicozzi – the students in Ms. Sugumele’s third grade class designed and decorated coffee sleeves with individual messages of love and kindness. The sleeves will be given out to customers at the Babylon Bean.
