West Islip High School students in the Computer Aided Design and Principles of Engineering classes recently visited CPI Aerostructures. Students toured the 130,000-square-foot manufacturing space and had a question-and-answer session with Robert Isoldi, director of manufacturing operations and one of their engineers. Mr. Isoldi is a West Islip Class of 2003 graduate who strongly believes in giving back to the community and happily hosts West Islip High School students each year for a tour as part of MFGDAYLI (Manufacturing Day Long Island). Local politicians were also a part of the day.
