Oquenock was one of only 20 schools in five states selected to participate in the John Theissen Children’s Foundation’s Great Toy Giveaway. The purpose of the initiative is to help students put compassion into action by distributing toys to children in need.
Oquenock was able to donate over 200 toys and student-created cards to the foundation, which has helped Long Island’s underprivileged families for 28 years.
