On Nov. 19, fourth grade students at Paul J. Bellew Elementary School had the chance to deepen their understanding of Native American history through an immersive learning experience. Students participated in the Journeys into American Indian Territory program, an educational workshop designed to expand their knowledge of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and contributions.
Throughout the program, students explored the rich heritage and diverse histories of Native peoples across North America. Interactive activities, games, and hands-on demonstrations helped bring these lessons to life, offering students a meaningful look into Native American daily life, customs, and historical perspectives.
