West Islip Community Celebrates at PTA Council Breakfast

West Islip Union Free School District hosted its annual PTA Council holiday breakfast on Dec. 11 at Oquenock Elementary School, bringing together administrators, board of education members, and PTA representatives for a morning of celebration and community.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Romanelli, Board of Education President Peter McCann and Oquenock Principal Amanda Harvey all shared the importance of the work of the PTA in bringing West Islip together as a community. Guests enjoyed a special performance by the school’s fourth and fifth grade chorus, who sang a selection of holiday-themed songs. The students’ enthusiasm and musical talent helped set a joyful tone for the event, making the morning both festive and memorable.
