Udall Road Students Shine at Stock Market Game

Students from Udall Middle School, under the guidance of business teacher Patricia Stack, made an impressive debut in the Stock Market Game, demonstrating their financial knowledge, teamwork and ability to apply real-world concepts in a competitive environment.
During the late spring session, Udall Road students competed against 302 Long Island high school teams and achieved outstanding results, with six students in the top 11. Congratulations to Christian Busking (No. 2), Liam McKendry (No. 4), Wyatt Freund (No. 7), Ryan Abi-Zeid (No. 9), Mikey Vandenberg (No. 10) and Jake Tyler (No. 11).
The students also earned exceptional statewide recognition, with eight teams placing in the top 100 out of 1,729 teams across New York State. The Stock Market Game provided students with a hands-on opportunity to explore investing, financial decision-making and economic concepts while working collaboratively with their peers. Through research, strategy and teamwork, students gained valuable experience connecting classroom learning to real-world financial skills.
Udall Middle School’s success highlights the power of providing students with meaningful opportunities to develop financial literacy and apply their knowledge in authentic ways.
